About The Artist

Javeria Z Khan

I began my career in administration, rising to a program coordinator role at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan, backed by a master’s in statistics with a specialization in HR. Yet, amidst all this versatility, one thing never wavered—art. Like many, my parents prioritized financial security, so I pursued a stable degree, but I never let go of my passion. Every free moment was dedicated to creating.

Then came the pandemic—an unexpected pause that made me realize it was time to settle, and for me, that meant embracing art fully. Inspired by Ireland’s breathtaking landscapes—the rugged coastline, the ever-changing skies, the vibrant bursts of wildflowers amidst the grey stone—I spent four years practicing landscapes, seascapes, skyscapes, still figures, and abstract art. But now, my work has evolved into something deeper—something I never knew existed within me.

As a self-taught artist, I explored every technique, followed countless artists, and imitated styles, only to discover that art isn’t a product—it’s an expression. Nature speaks in hidden lessons; the resilience of wildflowers pushing through the rocky terrain teaches me about perseverance, the ceaseless rhythm of the waves mirrors the ebb and flow of life. I capture those revelations, distilling their essence into impressionistic and abstract forms. Impasto allows me to build layers of texture, reflecting the complexity of human emotions, while fluid acrylics capture the fluidity of fleeting thoughts. My paintings are my vulnerabilities laid bare, inviting you to connect, feel, and embrace your emotions in a tangible way. Through my art, I hope to help you reconnect with yourself and rediscover your own inner landscape.”
