I am not sure when did i paint first but as far i know I have never had a time in my life whene i have never painted… I am self-taught and mainly paint in acrylics. All of my paintings are created with love and care from my home studio. I love travelling and documenting interesting parts of nature, seascapes, skies, lanscapes and mainly light peaking through dark.  The places I visit, live long in my memory until I am ready to bring them back to life on canvas with my own interpretation. I began with the basic idea of the scene in my mind and added texture to it.  Texture is integral part of my work and I enjoys the process of evolving areas as they emerge. My work starts with brushes at first and ends with palette knives while involving sponges, rag, tissue, silicon spatulas even my own fingers to create diversity in  my mark-making. Her combination of texture, strong colours and light create an uplifting and positive result. Some paintings take a few hours, some a couple of days and others a few weeks as she lives with the painting and constantly adds changes and details to make sure she has captured everything she wanted to say. My emotions strongly influence my abstracts and since i love to design places so any kind of exciting interior is also in mymind  and emotional response to nature
